About Stan Settle

Stan is a native Virginian, with more than 40 years of property development expertise throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. During his tenure with Pulte Homes, where he served as Vice President of Land Acquisitions and Development, he managed more than $1 billion in real estate transactions that included a wide range of high-profile projects that involved complex rezonings, historic preservation, strong community involvement, and mixed-use developments. Since leaving Pulte Homes, Stan produced $870M in lot sale revenues selling finished lots to regional and national home builders. SettleLand leverages Stan’s extensive knowledge to provide clients with valuable insights on local market trends, regulatory considerations, and project-specific challenges, making him a trusted partner in Virginia’s real estate development landscape.

Building upon his successful career in Northern Virginia, Stan has expanded his services to the Southwest Virginia market. With decades of experience under his belt, Stan’s vision and determination have proven to be a valuable asset to the region. 

Born in Warrenton, Virginia, Stan’s career began with the Highway Department which led to his land development career. He resides in Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia with his wife of 30 years, Lisa. He has four children and is “Pappy” to six grandchildren who keep him busy with college visits, sports, and plays.

Stan has been an avid hunter and now enjoys his yearly pheasant hunt to South Dakota. He also enjoys boating, NASCAR, and his 1999 Harley.
